Originally a Bay Area native, I'm a local musician and audio engineer who has worked on projects ranging from studio recording, independent film making, to post production sound design. I graduated in 2012 from Ex'pression College for Digital Arts with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Sound Arts. I’m certified in both Logic and Pro Tools and have advanced training in analog and digital recording, mixing, mastering and editing.
My career started in early 2007 when I was signed to Wind Up Records playing bass for a local San Francisco rock band Thriving Ivory. For much of 2008 and 2009 we toured both Canada and the U.S. promoting our self titled album playing some 200 + shows appearing on "VH1 Artists You Ought To Know", "The Jimmy Kimmel Show", and "The Rachael Ray Show." In 2010 the band received a RIAA Certified Gold Record for digital downloads of our first single "Angels On The Moon." The band spent an unprecedented 6 months in the number 1 spot on Billboard's Heat Seekers Chart.
I spent the majority of 2013 - 2014 working for Avid Technologies as a Pro Tools software test engineer, working heavily on the release of the much anticipated Pro Tools 11. In my spare time I’m working on personal projects that include producing, engineering and mixing local Bay Area bands as well as filming and editing independent films and Kickstarter projects that feature local artists and events. In 2012 I played with and helped record The Lady Crooners second full length LP. The band had the chance to spend a week in late December 2012 at David Lichtenstein's 25th Street Recording Studios with engineer John Smart.
